Services are scheduled for 2:00p.m. Tuesday at the Disciples Christian Church with Rev. Kelly Becker officiating. Final committal rites will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.
Rose was born January 11, 1927 in Parsons, Kansas to Lester and Amelia Sara Randall. She married Kenneth V. Wheat on October 20, 1945 in Parsons, Kansas. Rose was an avid singer, she sang in the Church Choir. Rose enjoyed square dancing, sewing, and cooking. She was a Charter member of Disciples Christian Church, Bartlesville, OK.
Rose is survived by her Husband Kenneth Wheat of 72 years, 2 daughter’s; Kenna Stierwalt of Bartlesville, and Sara and her husband Randy Stayton of Bartlesville, 2 son’s; Mark and his wife Susan Wheat of Bartlesville, and Duane and his wife Sharon Wheat also of Bartlesville, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, niece, Joyce and her husband David Austin of Parsons, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her
Parents; Lester and Amelia Sara Randall, and 2 brothers.
In lieu of
flowers, a memorial has been setup at Disciples Christian Church (5800
Douglas Lane, Bartlesville, OK 74006) for a flower garden in Rose’s
honor.
