Mary C. Walker, age 86 and longtime resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Bartlesville Health and Rehab in Bartlesville.

Mary Christine Walker was born on January 4, 1930 in rural Collinsville, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Lawrence Henry Hagenhoff and Mary Pauline (Whisenhunt) Hagenhoff. She was raised and received her education in Bartlesville, graduating from College High in 1947. She went on to graduate from Bartlesville Business College.
Mary and Donald Eugene Young were married September 17, 1950. They established their first home in the Bartlesville area. She married Harold Chester Walker on May 24, 1970 at Bartlesville and they made their home there.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Bartlesville. Mary's first job was with Kress Dime Store in downtown Bartlesville. She was a longtime employee (17+ years) of Phillips Petroleum Company in the Royalty Department, from which she retired. In her leisure time, Mary enjoyed traveling to different states; however, there were some states she liked better than others – Oklahoma was her favorite. Time spent with her children and grandchildren was always very special to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Donald and Harold; and one brother, Robert "Bob" Lawrence Hagenhoff.

She is survived by her son; Charles Eugene Young and his wife Julie of Ochelata, daughter; Donna Marie Wimberley of Bartlesville, step daughters, Fredrika Umschied of St. George, Kansas, Carolyn Sue Powell of Oklahoma City, Sandra Jean Balentine of Bartlesville; sisters, Frances Foster of Ochelata, Clara Naeher of Spring, Texas, Teresa Trowbridge of Garland, Texas, Cecelia Vitt of Bartlesville, Joan McKinney of Bartlesville, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, April 26, from 7:00 PM-8:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church followed by The Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday, April 27, at 10:00 AM (also at St. James) with Father Archie Fernandez officiating.

Interment will follow the service in Memorial Park Cemetery, Bartlesville.
