Carole Lee White, 91, formerly of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
Carole was born on July 5, 1934, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Lauran E. and Mildred M. Thompson. She graduated from Paseo High School and married J.C. White soon after.
They moved to Bartlesville in 1957 where Carole soon became a secretary for City Services, eventually becoming a head secretary for Price Company before moving on to medical transcription. She excelled in multiple things, including cooking, baking, crochet and ceramics and always made family gatherings and holidays special. Carole was also a member of East Bartlesville Christian Church for many years.
She loved her family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved many pets through the years, especially her dog Chip.
She is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. White; her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Thompson, and two sisters, Beverly Baughman and Jane Swinney.
She is survived by two children; Judy (Dale) Porter and Sean White; seven grandchildren, Scott Porter, Matt (Stephanie) Porter, Katherine (Jeremy) Ford, Bryan White, Bethany Young, Katie Porter, and Preston Porter; and ten great-grandchildren, Rayden, Asher, Kade, Addison, Tyson, Bryant, Brylee, Brantley, Dixie and Halen.
Visitation will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 4201 Nowata Road, Bartlesville, OK 74006, 918-333-7665.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025, also at Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory. Arrangements are under the direction of Carter Davis and Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel.
