On Saturday July 26, 2025, Michael Jeffery Veteto of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at the age of 75 following a years' long struggle with Alzheimer's disease.

Mike was born on February 16, 1950, in Burlington, Kansas, to Billie Wilson Veteto and Mona Maxine Veteto (Troxel). He graduated from Burlington High School in 1968. Mike would go on to obtain an associate degree from Neosho County Community College (1976), a bachelor of science from Pittsburg State University (1985), and a master of business administration from Oklahoma State University (1996).

Mike met Connie Marie Veteto (Fleming) in Iola, Kansas while he was working in the local grocery store. They were married in 1979 and spent their early years together dancing and flying airplanes. In 1985, they moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma where Mike would begin a 40 year career with Phillips Petroleum and, later ConocoPhillips.

Mike was passionate about learning, both in his work and his hobbies. Whether it was a new coding language or woodworking, he eagerly sought out new challenges. Mike loved the art of photography, car races, and exploring new technology. He carried himself with a reserved and friendly disposition. Mike enjoyed his time with family and friends, often telling stories of his youth, travels, or work and never missing the opportunity to interject a pun or sarcastic quip in his humorous way. This welcoming way led to him being beloved and respected throughout his communities.

Mike is survived by his wife Connie of 46 years and their two children, Caitlin Marie Veteto of Bartlesville, OK; and Jeffery Michael Veteto, wife Emily, of Dallas, Texas; his brother Craig Veteto, wife Kim, of Spring, Texas; and 4 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Jennifer Linneman (Veteto).

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at East Cross Church, 820 S Madison Blvd, Bartlesville. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
