Patty (Griggs) Ulrich, age 92, formerly of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away in Huntington Beach, California on Monday, July 25, 2016.

Patty Griggs was born on July 30, 1923 in Bartlesville. She was the daughter of Frank Nichols Griggs and Helen (Phillips) Griggs. She was raised and received her early education in the Bartlesville area, attending McKinley Grade School. She graduated high school with the College High School graduating class of 1941. After high school, she furthered her education by attending Oklahoma A&M (now known as Oklahoma State University).
On October 26, 1943, Patty married William Murray "Bill" Ulrich in Bartlesville. She and Bill had two boys, John William Ulrich and James Frank Ulrich.
Patty's father was the noted Bartlesville photographer (1888-1982). While her husband, Bill, served in the Pacific Theatre during WWII, she worked for her father in the Griggs Studio.
Patty will always be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed golf, birding, bridge and traveling. All of these things, she loved doing together with Bill, during their 59 years of marriage.

Survivors include her sons, John William Ulrich and his wife, Cristi, of Huntington Beach, California, and James Frank Ulrich and his wife, Trisa, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; six grandchildren, Melanie and her husband, Ryan Johnson, Rebecca and her husband, Erich von Bargen, Allison, Katie, Elizabeth and her husband, Paul Zimmerman, and Steven; and four great-grandchildren, Cadence, Isaac, Lydia and Indira.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Helen; her husband, Bill; and her sister Martha (Griggs) Ballintine.

Come and go visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00-8:00 PM in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey Ave.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Patty's memory may be made to the Bartlesville History Museum, c/o Jo Crabtree, 401 S. Johnstone Ave., 5th Fl., Bartlesville, OK 74003.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, August 1, at 10:00 AM in Memorial Park Cemetery.
