She attended local schools, graduating from Bartlesville High School in 1938, going to Bartlesville, Business College. Then, was employed at Third Street Motor Company as stenographer, bookkeeper and girl Friday. On June 17, 194O she married Bill Snell, the love of her life who she met in 1935 in high school and they have been together ever since.
