Bartlesville - Carolyn Eileen Reheis passed away unexpectedly on September 12, 2021.

She was born March 4, 1943, in Winfield, KS as the youngest daughter of Arvy and Elanor Bannon. While in high school in Douglass, Kansas, she was a twirler, a cheerleader, as well as the basketball and football queen. During this time, she dated the point guard and quarterback, Gary, and they married in 1966. They celebrated their 55 years together in June of 2021.

After they married, they moved to Bartlesville where Gary started a 35-year career with Phillips Petroleum Company. Carolyn worked as an executive secretary for REDA Pump and later part time as the Madison Junior High School lunchroom supervisor. No child ever went hungry under her watch in the cafeteria whether they had money or not.

She is survived by the loves of her life, husband Gary of the home, daughter Michelle Sitton (Kevin) of Bartlesville, son Kevin Reheis of Norman, her very special grandkids Kayla Sitton and Tanner Sitton (both students at The University of Oklahoma), brother Gary Bannon (Julie) of California, and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Joanne Marsh.

Carolyn was a mom to everyone. She never met a stranger and made friends wherever she went, especially at Homeland and Thirsty's. She will be missed by anyone that knew her and many more that didn't but might have recognized her driving all around town.

Visitation is at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville on Wed, Sept. 15th from 5-7pm.

Funeral will be at Stumpff Family Chapel at 10 am on Thurs, Sept 16th.

Final interment will directly follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
