Florence Louise Parker, 89, of Bartlesville, passed away Sunday, July
16, 2017 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Louise was born July 19, 1927 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to parents Atwell
Winfield and Mary (Blurton) Truitt. Louise moved to Bartlesville as a
young girl where she received her education. She graduated from College
High School. Louise married Billy Joe Parker on May 2, 1947 in
Bartlesville, Oklahoma and made their home here since that time.
Louise was very active at Adams Boulevard Church of Christ and also
volunteered with the Special Olympics and as Pink Lady at JPMC.
Louise is survived by her daughter Judi Craig and husband Cliff of
Shawnee, Oklahoma; son Larry Parker and wife Annette of Longview, Texas;
sister Doris Wolfe of Ardmore, Oklahoma; grandchildren Peterson Craig
and wife Cassi of Edmond, Oklahoma, Christopher Craig and wife Jessica
of Edmond, Oklahoma, Amy Blake and husband Robert of Little Rock,
Arkansas and Taryn Sutherland and husband Cameron of Edmond, Oklahoma
and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy Joe Parker in
March of 1995 and sister Lorene Kinder.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 10:30 am at
the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial
Park Cemetery.
