Dorothy Jean Parker
February 24, 1953 - September 15, 2025

Dorothy Jean (DJ) Parker, 72, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to William D. and Dorothy J. Parker, DJ lived a life defined by love, dedication, and joy. After earning her Master's degree in Education and Psychology from Oklahoma State University, she built a remarkable career, serving as Vice President of Operations for TESCORP for more than 20 years, where she was highly respected for her leadership and accomplishments.

On February 16, 2001, she married the love of her life, Fred Potter. Together, they shared years of happiness until his passing. DJ had a zest for life and many passions. She loved collecting show cars and proudly attended - and often won - car shows with her beloved 1970 Mach 1. She found peace in her garden, joy in the company of her boxer puppies, and magic in creating her annual "Christmas explosion," a holiday tradition cherished by all of the family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Parker; her brother, David Parker; and her husband, Fred Potter. She is survived by her daughters, Renee Johnson and husband Steven; Chelsea Migliaro and husband Michael, and her three grandchildren, Teagan Johnson, and Josephine, and Delcie Migliaro, and sister Patricia Wright and her son Eddie Wright, who will forever treasure her love and guidance.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, with a reception of lite snacks and refreshments at East Cross Methodist Church.

DJ will always be remembered for her warmth, humor, and the joy she brought to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
