Laura Rita O'Brien 82, of Bartlesville died at 5:09 p.m. Monday at her residence.
A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Walker-Brown Chapel. Mass is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday in the Saint James Catholic Church with Father Archie Fernandez officiating.
Final committal rites will be accorded to Mrs. O'Brien in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Laura Rita Logan was born on November 13, 1925 in Braddock, Pennsylvania to Gerald and Laura (Reese) Logan. Her greatest love and enjoyment was when she was spending time with her grandchildren. Laura enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends and family. She married George O'Brien on September 8, 1951 in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania.
Laura is survived by her husband George of the home, 4 sons, Mike and his wife LaJo O'Brien of Oklahoma City, Dan and his wife Maria O'Brien of Warner, Bob O'Brien of Bartlesville, and Jim and his wife Tammy O'Brien of Bartlesville, 2 daughters, Mary L. and her husband Tom McKinney of Bartlesville, Jeanne and her husband David Ruddick of Broken Arrow, 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 sister Clare Boddington of Atlanta, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Laura Logan, her twin sister Louise Logan, and her brother Gerald Logan.
