Dale Neff was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 27, 1936. He died on April 21, 2021 following a brief illness.
He married the love of his life, Virginia (Ginney) Haney on July 25, 1955. Their lives were filled with love, laughter, and music. Dale graduated from Oklahoma State University in August 1964 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He was employed with Phillips Petroleum Co for 38 years as a manager in Design Engineering. He moved in and out of Bartlesville six times, living in Houston, Borger, TX; Idaho Falls, Idaho and Brussels, Belgium. He traveled the world from Mexico to Australia and in between for his job. Dale was a member of the Professional Engineers Society, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, and the International Barbershoppers Society. Dale was always involved with music, as a young child in the church choir and continuing throughout his life. His hobby was singing barbershop harmony with his quartet and chorus with his rich, bass voice. Dale also enjoyed working with wood and made many beautiful carvings and furniture pieces for his home and family. He was an active member First Presbyterian Church, serving many years as Elder and Deacon. Dale and Ginney were blessed with a wonderful daughter Kim Loraine and son-in-law Michael Edward Bennett.
He has two grandchildren, Jennifer Angela (Bennett) Knox and husband Jimmy Knox; Gregory Dale Bennett and wife Chacey Bennett. Dale has four great grandchildren Jacob Len Knox, Jenna Alexis Knox, EmmaLea Loraine Bennett, and Austen Michael Bennett. Nephews Scott Neff and wife Kaye, and Tracy Neff.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Sybella (Haas) Neff and Millard Prescott Neff, his only sibling, brother Larry Neff, infant daughter Paula Neff, and infant son Paul Neff.
A public Visitation will be held Sunday April 25, from 1:00 until 8:00 pm with the family present 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
A graveside service will be held Monday April 26, at 2:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church. Services have been entrusted to Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
