Gayle Kathryn May passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. 

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Redeemer Luther Church with Reverend Mark E. Carter officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. 

Gayle May was born January 21, 1925 in Bridgeport, KS to Percy and Hattie (Morine) Shogren. She married Kenneth May on December 17, 1945 in Lindsborg, KS. Gayle was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church since 1972 and was very active in church activities. She was co-owner of Mayco Services. Gayle donated more than $1,000 to the American Cancer Society by making and selling necklaces. She also loved gardening and sewing, and most of all, spending time with her family. 

Gayle is survived by two daughters; Kathy and husband Tom Revere and Karen and husband John Nielsen, all of Tulsa; as well as daughters-in-law, Cathy and Karol May. She was blessed with nine grandchildren; Michelle Sebastian, Bradley May, Christopher May, Natalie May, Jeffrey May, Heather Brim, Kyle Revere, Emily Nielsen, Riley Nielsen and six great-grandchildren; Steven, Nicholas, Accaira, Elijah, Ava and Oliver. She is also survived by one brother, Gerry Shogren and his wife Kim, numerous nieces, nephews, many friends and her beloved dachshund, Winnie. 

Gayle was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, two sons; Steven May and Michael May, one brother, Keene Shogren, one sister, Kleo Unrein and her parents, Percy and Hattie Shogren.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society or Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bartlesville.
