Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the
direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Edwina Lois Maples was born March 8, 1933 in Stillwater,
OK to James E. and Leora (Humble) Marquis. Edwina
married Kenneth Dwain Maples on September 4, 1951 in
Bentonville, AR. Edwina was a homemaker, loving mother,
grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a very active
member of East Cross United Methodist Church. As a bird
enthusiast, she loved the outdoors and was an avid
gardener. Edwina enjoyed the Hot Springs, AR community
and attending the horse races.
Edwina is survived by three daughters: Candice Baldwin
and husband Richard of Lee Summit, MO, Kenita L. Maples
of Dewey, Karen Martin and husband Bob of Claremore. She
was blessed with five grandchildren: Chris Curry,
Michael Curry, Nicole Curry, Julialicia Case, Katie Case
and two great-grandchildren; Colby Rogers and Elijah
Curry.
Edwina was preceded in death by her parents,
husband of 57 years, Kenneth Maples, three brothers and
great-grandson, Christopher Blake Curry.
