Jimmie Ray Lykins, 59, of Bartlesville, died on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Friends who wish may call for visitation at the Stumpff Funeral Home on Sunday and Monday from 9 AM until 8 P.M. and the Lykins family will receive guests at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 PM until 8 P.M.

Jimmie Ray Lykins was born in Bartlesville on July 30, 1957 the son of Rollie Ford Lykins and Gladyce M. (Brooks) Lykins. He grew up and received his education in Bartlesville graduating from Sooner High School in 1975. He then attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1982. He had been employed with Phillips Petroleum Company and also with KPL Gas Service Company in Bartlesville and Wichita, Kansas. He was passionate about music and liked to spread his love of God, Jesus and the Bible. In 2000 Jim made his choice to serve God and kept true and faithful until his death. He was always kind and thoughtful and never missed anyone’s birthday.

Survivors include his father, Rollie Lykins of Bartlesville, three sisters, Linda Bly and husband Pat of Springfield, Missouri, Donna Lykins and Sandra Lykins both of Bartlesville, and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews that he dearly loved and had a nickname for most of them.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladyce M. Lykins in 1993.
