Vicki D. Lowery, 66, of Bartlesville, passed away on August 16, 2018 at her home.
The daughter of Kenneth and Ruth (Dertick) Powers, Vicki was born on July 13, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She had lived in Bartlesville for over forty years and was a very hard working, talented woman. Vicki had worked in many different fields over the years, but she was most proud of her teaching position at Tri County Tech. She enjoyed traveling, doing Civil War reenactments, creating metal art and raising animals. Never meeting a stranger, Vicki loved talking and making new friends. She was affiliated with Happy Hill Church.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chuck Lowery; grandson, Tracy Dean McGuire Jr.; brother, David Lee Powers and her sister, Betty Jo Kuschel.
She is survived by her step-mother, Joyce Powers; two sons, Terry McGuire and Tracy McGuire; three step-sons, David Lowery and his wife, Carol, Robert Lowery and Michael Lowery; step-daughter, Charlene Gue; two brothers, Ken Powers and Scotty Powers; one sister, Patty Sanford; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; very special friend, Ron Gilbert; many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 23, 2018, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Rev. Lillie Gardner will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brumley Funeral Home, Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
