Blaine Mahurin Lair, 86, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed from this life to his heavenly home on August 21, 2012.
Blaine was born on April 9, 1926 in Okemah, Ok to Charles William and Blossom Viola Lair. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Betty Faye, son Randall C. Lair and wife Susan of Wichita, daughter Becky D. Evans and husband Steve of Oklahoma City, grandchildren Scott A. Evans of Oklahoma City and Sarah E. Lair of Wichita. Other survivors include brothers Bill of Aledo, TX, Stanley of Roswell, NM and sister Janice Elliott of Atlanta, TX. Preceded in death by brother Keith W. Lair of Flower Mound, TX.
Blaine spent his life from the age of 9 loving and serving the Lord. Over the years, he served as a Deacon, adult Bible Study teacher and outreach director. Blaine's hope was that many would come to know the Lord. Before his retirement, he was the Administrator of Phoenix Baptist Hospital. He loved being surrounded by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Graveside service will be held on August 23rd at 1:00 p.m. in the Memorial Park Cemetery Bartlesville, Ok. under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

NOTE: Blaine was a Private in the US Army Air Forces during WW II
