BARTLESVILLE, WASHINGTON CO, OK
(permission granted)
Grace was a devoted wife and mother, and active in her church and in the community of Bartlesville. She enjoyed bird-watching, hiking, gardening, cooking, working out, and traveling with her husband. But her true passions were reading the Bible and praying. Prayer was Grace's regular habit, whether it be with friends, in church groups, or on her own. She once said that she was put on this earth "to give, and to pray."
Grace was forever known by her family as a "helicopter mom," and to elderly friends and acquaintances as one who could always be relied upon for a home-cooked meal, or help with yard work, transportation, or cleaning tasks, all of which she did without fanfare or expecting anything in return.
She was married to her husband for 51 years. She is survived by her husband, her children, Marcus and Jennifer Lessard, and three siblings.
Visitation for Grace will be held Tuesday at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm. The family will be present to greet guests from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 13, 10:00 am at Tuxedo Assembly of God Church.
