Debra Ann "Debbie" (Burge) Jirele
Dec 7, 1963 - Nov 11, 2017
Posted by: Ann Weber

DAVIS FAMILY FUNERAL HOME
DEWEY, WASHINGTON CO, OK
(permission granted)

Debra Ann Jirele of Bartlesville, loving wife and mother, was 53 when she died Saturday in Bartlesville. She was a remarkable woman and she will be dearly missed by Mike and Sarah.

Debbie as she was known was born the daughter of Robert William and Ella “Bea” (Gowen) Burge on December 7, 1963, in San Diego, CA. Her father was in the navy and the family moved frequently throughout the United States and abroad. Debbie graduated from Wellington High School in Tennessee in 1982. Later her family moved to Mannford, OK, where she enrolled in and graduated from Northeastern State University with a degree in Industrial Arts in 1989. Mike and Debbie found each other online and the fact that Debbie was an over-the-road trucker for CFI sparked his interest. They quickly fell in love with Mike realizing they had a similar chemistry and were a perfect match. They tied the knot on August 3, 2002, at Lake Side Baptist Church in Mannford and made their home in Bartlesville. After four years of marriage they added a beautiful baby girl to their loving home.

Debbie was a strong independent woman who enjoyed cooking, photography, music and was a homebody. Once Sarah came along, Debbie began her full-time career as a homemaker and caregiver. Debbie cared for her mother and brother in their Mannford home until 2012 when due to her mother’s failing health she brought her mother and brother to live in her home and cared for them until just recently.

Debbie is survived by her husband Mike and precious daughter Sarah Danielle, both of the home, mother Bea Burge of Bartlesville and father Robert Burge, and her brothers Michael Burge of Pawhuska, and David Burge and Rebekah of Portland, OR.
