Clead Edward Grady, Sr. 77, retired Truck Driver and former resident of Bartlesville died Friday Evening in Tulsa.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Graveside services and Interment are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mr. Grady was born November 6, 1938 at Lenapah, Oklahoma to Charles Wesley and Deloris Minnie (Straley) Grady. He came to the Bartlesville area as a young boy and was raised and received his education in Bartlesville Public Schools. Following his education, he worked at several jobs for a few years until enlisting in the U.S. Army in 1955, where he served until his honorable discharge on May 31, 1964. He was married to Marilyn L. Brantley on January 20, 1959 at Pawhuska, Oklahoma. They made their home in Bartlesville where he was involved in the trucking industry as a Truck Driver. In 1964, they relocated to Norman, Oklahoma, and later to Oklahoma City where he continued to work as a truck Driver, until his retirement. They moved to Coweta in 2004, and had made his home there, near two of his sons since that time.
His hobbies were fishing, and mechanics, he loved to work on cars and tinker with them. He also enjoyed woodworking, racing, and was an avid OU fan. He was a dedicated family man; described as "the King" by one of his sons. He was a great husband, father, brother and loved his grandchildren and great grandkids.

Mr. Grady is survived by his wife Marilyn L. Grady of the home in Coweta, by five sons; Rick Grady and wife Elaine of Noble, Oklahoma, David Grady and wife Jan of Coweta, OK., Harold Grady of Coweta, Thomas Grady and wife Marguerite of Norman, OK, and Clead Grady Jr and wife Shannon also of Norman. By three sisters Catherine Neurauter, Louise Kidd both of Bartlesville, OK. And Frances Black of Copan, Oklahoma. And by 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great -Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Deloris Grady Sr., three brothers, Floyd, Charles and Harold Grady Jr., and by two sisters Bonita, and Wanetta.
