Funeral services for Mr. Gay will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Grace Community Church in Bartlesville with Dr. Rod Mcllvaine officiating.
Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Visitation will be at the Stumpff Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9 AM until 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to the Journey Home, 900 N.E.. Washington Blvd., Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006.
Mr. Gay was born in Bartlesville on November 26, 1954 the son of Willis Wade Gay Sr. and Josephine Boynton (Cox) Gay. He grew up and received his education in Bartlesville and late received his Associates Degree from Coffeyville Community College. He had also received his paramedic certification, his phlebotomy certificate and the professional truck driver award for his district. He was employed as a seismograph technician with ConocoPhillips for 18 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, exploring wilderness areas, drawing, woodworking, and coaching Little League games.
He was married to Leedean Michelle Myers on July 21, 1972.
Mr. Gay is survived by his wife Michelle Gay of the home in Bartlesville, sons, Rickey Lee and wife Amy, Eric and wife Tara, Brody and wife Shadie, and daughters, Jacque and Audrey, a brother, Willis Gay Jr., a sister, Jean Buford and nine grandchildren.
