(permission granted)

Edna Sue Galloway, 86, resident of Bartlesville, died at 11:45 AM, Saturday in Bartlesville.

A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 PM Tuesday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory

Sue Galloway passed away peacefully on January 16, 2016, at Journey Bound Hospice Home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 19, 1928, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, though she would argue the state record was wrong and always celebrated on August 18. She was preceded in death by her parents A. T. (Art) and Bertha Sanders, 2 sisters, Kathleen and Pat.

Sue graduated from Bartlesville High School in 1947 after which she had a long career as a legal secretary, working for Cities Service Petroleum Company, attorney Denny Garrison and Phillips Petroleum Company until her retirement in 1993. After retirement, she volunteered her time and knowledge at Legal Aid in Bartlesville.
On March 16, 1951, she married William E. (Bud) Galloway and together they celebrated life for 64 years and 10 months. They had one son, Tom (Tommy as Sue called him). Sue was previously a long time member of Virginia Avenue Baptist Church and was baptized into membership at Spruce Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in 2014.
Sue had a heart for homeless pets and fed and cared for many cats in her neighborhood over the years. One special stray named Fluff took up permanent residence and was constantly by her side.

Sue is survived by her husband W. E. (Bud) Galloway of the home, son Tom and his wife June of Bella Vista, Arkansas, granddaughter Kerri and her husband Mike Wood of Neosho, Missouri, granddaughter Lucy and her husband Jason Honzell of High Ridge, Missouri, and great grandchildren Dakota Wood, Lanni Wood, Phoenix Honzell and Troy Honzell.
