Eunice Ilene Dull, 96, of Bartlesville, went home to her heavenly Father Saturday.

Eunice was born the daughter of Floyd and Dora (Wells) Bentley on Sept. 23, 1920, in Spearmore, OK, the oldest of seven children. She was raised and educated in Laverne, OK. At the age of 17 just after her grandfather’s death Eunice’s family moved to the farm just outside of town. During this time she meet Arnold Dull on the opposite end of a double date. They soon figured out they were destined for each other and united in marriage on Nov. 5, 1939.

Arnold was employed with Phillips Petroleum Co. and they made their first of many homes in Hartner, KS, and then Buffalo, OK. In 1947 they moved to Bay, MO, population 54 before relocating to Jefferson City, Mo in 1957. Once the kids were grown Eunice found her calling to serve others in need and worked at local area hospitals until retiring. In retirement Eunice and Arnold loved to fish and travel to spend time with the grandchildren. In 1998 they moved to Bartlesville to be closer to their son Jerry. Arnold preceded Eunice in death in 2000.

Eunice had a heart for serving others and loved the Lord most of all. She was active in her church and served in the Hospitality ministry which delivered meals to those in need. Sewing, quilting and crocheting were a few of her hobbies. Eunice loved to fish and even had one of her biggest fish mounted. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her precious grandchildren.

Eunice is survived by her son Jerry Dull and Jeannie of Bartlesville; one brother Carl Bentley of Oklahoma City; one sister Fae Owens of Enid; five grandchildren, Tammy Sizemore and Chris of Texarkana, Tx, John Graham and Karen of Oregon, Kelly Bennett and Chad of Washington state, Amy Parrett and Paul of Broken Arrow, and Rebecca Gibson and Tony of Oregon state; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Erlene Graham in 2005, three brothers Raymond, Paul and Pete (all Bentley), and one sister Irma Lois Jett.

Eunice’s family will receive friends at the Davis Family Funeral Home, 918-534-3030, 113 S. Osage (Hwy. 75), Dewey, on Wed., Nov. 2, from 6-8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Thurs., Nov. 3, at Highland Park Baptist Church, with Dr. Don Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
