Dr. Glenn Warren Dodwell, 65, of Bartlesville, died at 2:45 A.M. on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.
Funeral services for Dr. Dodwell will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Chaplain Brian Schexnayder officiating.
Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Dr. Dodwell was born in New York City, New York on January 14, 1953 the son of Joseph William and Marie (Ennis) Dodwell. He grew up in Teaneck New Jersey in his younger years and then in Glen Rock, New Jersey where he graduated from high school. He received his PhD in Chemistry from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute at Worcester, Massachusetts. He then pursued a career in the chemical engineering profession. Dr. Dodwell holds multiple patents for his work in chemical research. He came to Bartlesville in 1998 and was employed as a research chemist with Phillips Petroleum Company until his retirement. He was married to Anne Marie Gagnon on August 15, 1975 at Worcester, Massachusetts and she preceded him in death on April 9, 2013.
Survivors include a brother, Ross Dodwell and his wife Lisa of Wake Forest, North Carolina, special friends, Regina and Nathan Mellen of Bartlesville and his Godchildren, Madeline Mellen, Catherine Mellen and Gwendolynn Mellen.
