She was born June 25, 1945 to Charles Lee Crowder and Mary Lorinda Ruddick in Sunflower, Kansas. Myrtle married Archie R. Dodd on November 29, 1963 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Myrtle was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She never said an unkind word about anyone. Her love for others knew no limitations. She was a devoted Christian who spread God's word through her grace and sincerity.
She is survived by her husband, Archie R. Dodd of McKinney, Texas; sons, Michael Dodd and wife, Robin of McKinney, Texas and Stephen Dodd of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Garrett, Madison, Tanner and Sawyer; sister, Aggie Shahan and a host of other loving family and friends.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Crowder.
A "come and go" visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
