BARTLESVILLE, WASHINGTON CO, OK
(permission granted)

Jane DeRosa was born in Bristow, Oklahoma, the second daughter of Robert Lee and Edna Marie Hendrickson. God gave the world this beautiful gift July 1, 1933 and the world returned her to Him on November 3, 2017. She married Louis Robert DeRosa on October 29, 1954. Out of this union, came two children, Gina and Mike.

Jane was a kind and loving woman and anyone who knew her could feel her genuine love and sincerity. She was raised with wholesome Christian values and church was a big part of life; you treated others the way you wanted to be treated and your word was as good as gold. She instilled these values and her deep love of God in her children and grandchildren.
She spent most of her life in Bartlesville, graduating from College High School in 1951. Following graduation, Jane completed courses at Bartlesville Business College and began her career at Phillips Petroleum Company as a legal secretary, retiring after 42 years. A very beautiful woman, Jane was approached to model for the company and became one of their favorite models, doing several shoots and advertising campaigns for Phillip’s 66 as well as other companies; one of which was the famous Marlex Plastics used for a variety of products but most notably the Hula Hoop.
Jane will be dearly missed as her light burned bright in the many hearts of those who knew and loved her. She had an endless love for her family and friends. In her final days she said, “I have had a happy and loving life and thank God for that.” And I am sure she would add; may God bless and keep you all and I will see you soon.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Gina White and husband Robert of Houston, TX, her son Michael DeRosa and wife Jennifer of Coffeyville, KS, her grandchildren Lisa Sprung, Melinda Shipley and husband Scott, Joshua and Lucas DeRosa, Drew Cormier, Courtney Emberson, two great-grandchildren Katelynn and Justin Shipley, her sister Helen Wallen, her best friend Jane Sharp and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Louis DeRosa and parents Robert and Edna Hendrickson.

Funeral services will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bartlesville on November 8th at 11:00 am, with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
