Terry Demaree, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on June 2, 2026, at the age of 72. Terry was born on August 25, 1953, in Washington, D.C., to Thomas Leonard Andrews and Betty June Brouse, later known as Betty Patrick.
She shared her life with her beloved husband, Robert Demaree. Robert loved Terry with a depth and tenderness many people only hope to know. The love they shared was rare, beautiful, and truly magical - felt in their laughter, loyalty, companionship, and the life they built side by side.
Robert and Terry also spent many years working alongside one another at Applied Automation/ABB, where Terry was known for her dedication, steadiness, and quiet strength. Through many seasons of change, she earned the respect of those around her and brought warmth, humor, and grace to the people she worked with.
Terry had a rare and timeless sense of grace. She carried herself with classic elegance and a quiet beauty that never needed to announce itself. She had a thoughtful eye for detail and a gift for making things feel special, tasteful, and just right. Her style was natural, her taste was classic, and the beauty she brought into the world never felt forced.
Just as memorable as Terry's grace was her warmth. She loved to laugh, have fun, and share light-hearted moments with the people she loved. She was the kind of friend people felt lucky to have - loyal, thoughtful, easy to be around, and sincere in the way she cared for others.
Terry loved her family deeply and found joy in life's simple, beautiful moments - peaceful days near the water, the page of a good book, the companionship of dogs, and laughter shared with those she loved. She had a tender heart for those who needed care and gave that care with patience, gentleness, and love. She also shared a close and cherished bond with her brother, Richard Patrick, who remained an important and loving presence throughout her life.
Those who knew Terry will remember her not only for her beauty and grace, but for the way she made people feel - welcomed, valued, and genuinely cared for. Terry leaves behind a legacy of grace, kindness, and love, and the way she made life feel softer, warmer, and more beautiful for those around her.
Terry is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Demaree; her brother, Richard Patrick; her nephew, Jason Patrick, who held a very special place in her heart and whose bond with her she treasured deeply; along with extended family and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Leonard Andrews and Betty Patrick.
In honor of Terry's compassionate spirit, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through the Terry Demaree St. Jude Memorial Fund: http://events.stjude.org/TerryDemaree.
