David Lewis Craig, 82, of Tulsa passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Journey Home in Bartlesville.

David was born on November 15, 1934 to parents Phillip E. Craig and Vera Brown. David was a graduate of the 1954 class at College High School in Bartlesville. He then received his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma A&M (OSU).
David worked as a bailiff for the Tulsa County Juvenile Court under the direction of Judge Tom Crewson for many years.
David was an avid outdoorsman. He loved camping, fishing, hiking and backpacking. He was also very active with the Boy Scouts and was a leader of many troops. He helped many young men receive their Eagle Scout.

David is survived by his son Douglas and wife Elisabeth Craig of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four grandchildren Aidan, Brendan, Cullen and Evan Craig and nieces Shari Deeter, Kami Jones and Cathi Snively.

He was preceded in death by a son Brian Allen Craig and brother James Craig.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 9:00 am at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
