Joanne Boyd Clark passed away at 3:30am on January 7th at home with family surrounding her.

She was born in Childress County Texas, at her Maternal Grandparents rural home, on July 25th, 1931. Her father, Lacy Boyd worked as a drilling superintendent in the West Texas oil fields, so the family moved around a lot. By the time she got in high school, the family bought a home and settled in Odessa Texas. Joanne and her older sister both graduated from Odessa High School. In 1948, while enrolling at Texas Tech College, she met her husband to be, Merlin Clark. They were married in August 1950. They had four children and eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Joanne was born with art talent and has been active as a watercolor and oil painter most of her life. She was active in the Bartlesville Art Association and was responsible for bringing several master artists to Bartlesville to teach classes.

Joanne was preceded in death by one daughter and one son: Kimberly Clark House and Bradley Boyd Clark.

Survivors include her husband, Merlin Odell Clark, Two sons, Russell Earl Clark and wife Tami, Thomas Merlin Clark and wife Candy, Grandchildren, Nathan, Nick, Lesley, & fiancé Cody, Lacey and husband Israel, Brynna and husband Sean, John and fiancé Tristan, Taylor and Elaina, and great grandchildren, Asher, Elijah, Joshua, Zadok, Nolan and Murphy JoAnn.

Due to the various Covid 19 derivatives, services will be held for family only on Friday, January 14th.

Visitation to pay respects can be made at Stumpff Funeral Home on Thursday January 13th from 9 AM until 8 PM

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bartlesville Art Association: 500 South Dewey Avenue, Bartlesville, OK 74003.
