Everett Carruth 88, of Bartlesville, passed away Saturday in Dewey.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Stumpff Chapel with Ronda Glades and Jackie Fowler officiating. Final committal rites will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.
Everett was born February 18, 1930 in Skedee, OK, to Jack and
Della Drake Carruth.
In 1951, Everett enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and completed his basic training
at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. He moved to Bartlesville in 1955
and met and married Golda Upshaw in June of 1956. In June of 1957, they had a
daughter Regina. The couple divorced in 1974, and he met Iva Summers, and they
were married in November 1975. Everett was a Home Builder by Trade. He and his
wife Iva were the owners and Operators of Carruth Homes. He enjoyed fishing,
traveling, gardening, and visiting with family and friends.
Everett is survived by 1 daughter, Regina and her husband Steve Diller of Bartlesville, 1 granddaughter, Shannon and her husband Donnie Eckert of Dewey, 3 great grandsons, Michael, A.J., and Kaiden, 1 brother, Elton and wife Glenda Carruth, 2 sister’s, Glenda Sue and husband Raymond Starnes, and Zola and husband Bob Kessler, and one stepson James Page of Bartlesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Iva Carruth, parents, Jack and Della Carruth, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
