Billye “Carlene” Bradford, 70, of Bartlesville, passed away at the Journey Home in Bartlesville at 1:35 P.M. on Thursday, April 26, 2018

Carlene was born on April 30, 1947 in Lubbock, Texas to Grady and J. Lois (Howell) Thurman. She grew up briefly in Arkansas and then received her education in Tulia, Texas. She was married to Leonard Harvey in Tulia, Texas in 1966. They moved to Bartlesville in 1969 to make their home. She was later married to Garry L. Bradford on April 24, 1977 in Bartlesville and they made their home in Bartlesville. She had been employed at Baldwin Rexall Drugs and then Thurman Realty. She later was active in day care and Avon sales from her home as well as being active in the loss prevention business until her retirement.

Carlene is survived by her children, Tauna Scroggins and husband Larry of Tulsa, Alissa Byers and husband Brent of Bartlesville, Angela Marshall and husband Barry of Bartlesville and Derek Bradford and wife Julie of Dewey, one sister, Patsy Rowlett and husband John Ed of Bartlesville, 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Carlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Garry L. Bradford on April 1, 2018 and one granddaughter, Amber Diane Myers.

The family will greet friends on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the Stumpff Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donation be made to the Carlene Bradford continuing medical expense fund at any Bank of Oklahoma location.
