Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December
20th at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor William J. Shupe officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial
Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of
Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Twila Belle Bersche was born April 15, 1931 in Nardin,
OK to Ralph and Veda (Fauchier) Grimsley. She married
Duane Leroy Bersche on February 10, 1951 in Blackwell,
OK. Twila was a homemaker who loved crafts and making
quilts and baby blankets. She enjoyed gardening and had
fond memories of being raised on a farm.
Twila is survived by her husband Duane Bersche of
Bartlesville; two sons, Greg Bersche and wife Kimberly
of Skiatook and Mark Duane Bersche and Lori Hutson of
Barnsdall; two daughters, Vickie and husband Craig
Sprague of Bartlesville and Gail and husband Rick
Barringer of Friendswood, TX. She was blessed with six
grandchildren: Kyle, Sondra, Amanda, Jeremy, Kendra, and
Jake along with three great-grandchildren Tyler, Kaylee
and Paisley. Twila is also survived by her brother LeRoy
Grimsley, sister Dorothy Brown, numerous nieces,
nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Twila was preceded in death by her parents and sister,
Betty Jo Nugen.
