Barbara Ann Bailey, age 53, lifetime Bartlesville resident passed away December 14, 2004, at the Jane Phillips Memorial Hospital. Barbara was born May 15, 1951, in Bartlesville to Donald and Florence (Winkler) Bailey. She attended school in Bartlesville and graduated from College High in 1969. Barbara raised two wonderful boys, Michael and Nathaniel. If there was one thing she was most proud of in her life it was her boys. She was looking forward to seeing Nathaniel graduate from college next year.

Barbara had a special kindness and gentleness about her, filling your heart with love and always putting others first in life. She was devoted to her family and her love for nature. Her bird houses, pets and flower gardens at home and her church were a passion.

She was fun loving, never having a bad word to say and always there for her family, friends and neighbors. She enjoyed traveling but most of all she enjoyed decorating her home and neighborhood for the holidays.

Barbara worked for ConocoPhillips as a Staff Property Maintenance Representative and had just received her thirty year ring. She was an active member of the Green Country Garden Club and the First Presbyterian Church of Bartlesville.

Her father, Donald Bailey had preceded her in death in 1986.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Michael J. and Angela Ruble and grandson Kael Michael Ruble of Vernon, TX, and a son Nathaniel P. Hagebusch of Stillwater, OK. She is also survived by her mother, Florence Bailey, of Bartlesville, and brother and sister-in-law James K. and Sara Bailey of Tulsa.

A memorial service for Barbara Bailey will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church of Bartlesville, at 5th and Dewey.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Green Country Garden Club, c/o 1630 Smysor Drive, Bartlesville, OK 74006, or the First Presbyterian Church, Bartlesville. Service arrangements are by the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Bartlesville.
