Kenneth Wesley Arwood, age 58 and resident of
Bartlesville, OK, passed away on Saturday, August
13, 2016, at his home in Bartlesville.
Kenneth was born on August 22, 1957 in Detroit,
Michigan. He was the son of Lynn Arwood and Ruby
Bauswell. Kenneth was raised and educated in Hazel
Park, Michigan. He and his family moved to
Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 1988.
Kenneth was a cherished member of Virginia Avenue
Baptist Church. He loved playing games at church,
especially Farkle. He enjoyed spending time at the
Elder Care and Daybreak programs. His favorite hobby
was art and he received many awards at county fairs
for his work, including several first place ribbons.
Kenneth is survived by Gary Bauswell and his wife,
Mary Bauswell, their children, Kenneth Bauswell,
Tina Bauswell, David Bauswell, Timothy Bauswell and
his wife, Lisa; Theresa Livingston and her husband,
Joe, their children, James Thompson and Angeline
Hock; Sherry Olson and her husband, Timothy, and
their children, William Brooks and his wife, Amanda,
Jennifer Hill and her husband, Ronnie, Carrie Harris
and her husband, Shawn Harris, and Timothy Brooks;
Robin Taylor and her husband, Robert, and their
children, Rusty Taylor and wife, Michah Morton,
Steven Arwood and wife, Delana, Amanda Wright and
her husband, Dustin, Christina Gudmondson and her
husband, Michael, Amy Bell, Donald Taylor and his
wife, Heather, and many other nieces, nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Hinds
and her husband, Arnold Hinds, his father, Lynn
Arwood, his sister, Pamela Hamel, and niece, Tawyna
Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
Virginia Avenue Baptist Church, 132 S.W. Virginia,
Bartlesville, OK 74003.
Visitation for Kenneth will be held on Tuesday,
August 16, in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral
Home, 710 S. Dewey Ave. Bartlesville, OK from 9:00
am until 8:00 pm. The family will receive visitors
Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will be celebrated at Virginia
Avenue Baptist Church on Wednesday at 2:00 pm.
Pastor Wallace Thames will be the officiant.
Interment will follow the service in Memorial Park
Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Arnold
Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home. Condolences and
