Michael Richard Elam passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at his home.
He was born June 18, 1960 in Bartlesville, OK to William Richard Elam and Ellen Marie Elam.
Mike grew up in Bartlesville and Ochelata. He was a self-employed tile setter. Mike enjoyed fishing, horseback riding and spending time with his wife and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Elam, daughter Casey Merchant and her husband Daniel, daughter Miranda McConnell and son Kenny Elam, seven grandchildren: Kevin, Devin, Payton, Chastin, Crystal, Alex and Jaden. Brother Wade and wife Katra, brother Billie and sister Shasta and husband Dumitru Parvulescu, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends Tim and Berdie Whitson, Don and Donnie Whitson, James and Mary Justice, Kurt Sumpter and Pat, Mark and Echo Ennis, Marion Kincaid, Dee Smith, Red and Dana Miller, Dan Bassler, Perry Breeze, Jim Crowder, Monte Kimrich, David and Pat Zoski, and Gary Duffield.
He was preceded in death by his father William Richard Elam and mother Ellen Marie Elam.
Graveside services for close friends and family will be Friday, July 13, 2012 at Matoka Cemetery at 10:00am. Services will be performed by Pastor Larry Miller.
You will be truly missed.
