David Lee Hair Jr.
January 10, 1977 - January 28, 2022

David Lee Hair Jr. (Chooge), passed away on January 28, 2022, at Bartlesville, at the age of 45. He was born to David Lee Hair Sr. and Susan Elaine Trottingwolf Hair on January 10, 1977, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

David had such great memories of growing up with his family. He loved going to Branson, Missouri each year as a child with his parents and siblings. Later in life, he did that with his wife and daughters as well. Sundays were also a big family day for him growing up. After church they would gather at his grandma and grandpa Trottingwolf's Home. He would play different games or sports with all his cousins and David was known for making up his own rules to win. David always had a competitive drive and in high school played football and wrestled. After High school he attended OBU and was a Lambda Chi and had great memories with all his fraternity brothers. David later graduated from Roger State University with a degree in Business Administration.

David married the love of his life, Patty, on March 12, 1999. Both were ready for a new adventure in life, and they found that in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where David continued his career in the Pharmaceutical Industry. David and Patty both grew up in small towns and they ventured back to Oklahoma to be close to family. David was a great Daddy; he loved his girls and would always be cheering them on. He loved watching Avah and Ella-Beth sing, dance and cheer. Ella-Beth was the one who got him into fishing. Once they started fishing, he was “hooked”. David loved everything about it and had fond times taking his boat out with his dad and nephew. He kept his fishing pole in his Jeep just in case he had some extra time in the day to go. David and his daughter, Avah shared a love of Mission Impossible movies and often quoted lines back and forth. David had a broad range of musical taste. The last several years he loved classical music. Patty would get in her car, and he thought it was funny to have Symphony Hall blaring on the radio. David enjoyed going to watch OSU football, boxing, traveling and Ford Mustangs. His laugh, sense of humor, and orneriness will be so missed by all who knew him.

David is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Rachel Trottingwolf, and Mose and Bertha Hair, as well as many aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife Patricia (Patty) Rupert Hair; his daughters Avah Olivia Hair and Ella-Beth Sophia Hair; his parents David Lee Hair Sr. and Susan Hair; his sister Kamichia Shepherd and her husband Brice; his brother Eric Hair and his wife Nikki; as well as a host of nephews and nieces.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 5, at 2:00 p.m., at Highland Park Baptist Church in Bartlesville, and is under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory. A private graveside service will be held at Matoaka Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Wesleyan Christian School at 1780 Silver Lake Rd Bartlesville, Ok 74006 or you may leave at the funeral home for Avah Olivia and Ella-Beth Sophia Hair's tuition costs. Family to receive guest Friday February 4, 2022 from 6-7 PM at Stumpff Funeral Home.
