Mrs. Florene "Flo" Shrum, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at her home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Flo was born on June 10, 1924 in Bennington, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of O. Z. Adair and Bertha (Wallace) Adair. She married Raymond Shrum on August 5, 1960 in Vinita, Oklahoma. Mr. Shrum preceded her in death on May 14, 1984 and Flo has continued her residence in Bartlesville since that time.
Flo was employed as a nurse aid for many years. She enjoyed her family and taking care of her grandkids and others. She will be dearly missed by not only her family, but by her many friends.
She is survived by her children, Linda Parks, of Bartlesville, Vicki Sebert and her husband, Kenny, of Ochelata, Oklahoma, and Elaine Ramos of Bartlesville; seven stepchildren; four foster children; six grandchildren, Melinda Padgett, Raylynn Sebert, Kynna Sebert, Kelsey Ramos, Dalton Sebert and Nicholas Ramos; and one great granddaughter, Brianna Sebert. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Ida Mae Jones, Pauline Smith and Lorene Todd; one brother, Will Adair; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services for Mrs. Shrum will be held on Friday, July 20, at 2:00 p.m. in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home Chapel, 710 S. Dewey Ave. Pastor Mark Bright will be the officiant. Interment will follow the service in the Dewey Cemetery. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.honoringmemories.com.
