Bettie L. Schafer passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 in the Dewey Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Betty had a love for animals. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the SPCA, 16620 State Highway 123, Bartlesville, OK 74006.
Bettie L. Schafer was born April 13, 1920 in Dewey, OK to Roy and Olive (Critchfield) Lewis. Bettie was a homemaker. She enjoyed making crafts, camping, fishing, being outdoors and tending to her flowers.
Bettie is survived by one son, John and wife Barbara Koster of Bartlesville. Three daughters; Jane Koster of Moline, KS, Deborah and husband Johnnie Jack of South Coffeyville, OK and Dona Schafer of Tulsa. She had seven grandchildren, Butch, Tonya, Terry, Jason, Kasha, Mike and Travis along with fourteen great-grandchildren.
Bettie was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd L. "Sully" Schafer.
