DAVIS FAMILY FUNERAL HOME
DEWEY, WASHINGTON CO, OK
(permission granted)

Madolyn “June” Mull, 84, of Copan, died Tuesday morning in Dewey.

June was born the daughter of Joseph Arthur and Cina (Hanson) Haugh on June 1, 1932, in Dewey, Ok. She graduated from Dewey High School where she and her sister Barbara acquired two lifelong friends Beverly Boothe and Betty Kroh. June met the love of her life Jack Mull while she was working with Cities Service and they were united in marriage on May 9, 1959. Jack was transferred with Cities Service to the Tulsa office in 1969 and transitioned to Occidental Petroleum before retiring after 32 years of service in 1985. Jack and June moved back to the land in Copan that they had been readying for a new home to be built in 1999.

June and Jack supported the Copan High School Girls softball team for many years, oftentimes helping to ready the field for home games. They volunteered at the Delaware Pow Wow, working with her sister Barbara and brother-in-law Andy Davis. June loved arts and crafts, painting, stained glass and sculpting. She created a diorama of the Delaware Indian Pow Wow that is still displayed in the family home. She loved her yard and with Jack’s help she kept it in pristine shape for visitors and the many hummingbirds who visited yearly.

June is survived by her son Gary Mull and Jamie of Tulsa; one step grandson Zeke Starks of Tulsa; three nephews, Kent Obermier, John Davis and David Davis; and one niece Candy Obermier; and good friend Betty Kroh. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Barbara Davis and Andy and adopted sister and best friend Beverly Boothe.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016, at the Chapel of the Davis Family Funeral Home with Chaplin Roger Shephard officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dewey Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home.
