Warren A. LaRue

Funeral services for Mr. Warren A. "Lash" LaRue, 73, were held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at the graveside in the Dewey Cemetery with Mr. Eddie Ramsey of Gainesville, Texas officiating. Interment was held in the Dewey Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home.
A memorial has been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Mr. LaRue may do so to: Jane Phillips Hospice, c/o Bluestem Regional Medical Development Foundation, 3500 SE Frank Phillips Blvd. Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74006.
Mr. LaRue was born June 1, 1923 at Prue, Oklahoma to Joe and Mable Agnes (McNair) LaRue. He was raised and received his education in Webb City and Shidler, Oklahoma. Mr. LaRue entered the United States Navy in August 1942 and was honorably discharged in December 1945. He married Louise Yeager on March 8, 1946 at Webb City Oklahoma. Mr LaRue was employed with Phillips Petroleum Company from 1951 until his retirement in 1983. Mr. and Mrs. LaRue have made their home in Dewey since 1963.
Mr. LaRue is survived by his wife, Louise LaRue of the home; one son Bill and Paula LaRue of Owassa, Oklahoma; three daughters Carolyn and Mike Fielder of Bartlesville; Trudy and Terry Fisher of Sperry and Judy and Jack Fleharty of Bartlesville; grandchildren, James LaRue, Billy LaRue Jr., Susan Fielder, Andy Fielder, Ashley Fisher, Erin Fisher and Nikki Fleharty; two brothers, Rex and Ray LaRue; four sisters, Lorene Earp, Betty Parrent, Erma Schrivner and Jean Nichols.
Funeral arrangements and interment were under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.
