Perry Kountoupis passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday,
December 16, 2016 at the Dewey Cemetery with Father
George Gartelos officiating. Military flag honors will
be presented by American Legion Post #105 Honor Guard.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown
Funeral Home.
Perry Kountoupis was born June 14, 1927 in Dewey, OK to
Tony George and Marika (Carelas) Kountoupis. He
graduated from Dewey High School in 1945 and joined the
US Navy during WWII. He went on to graduate at the
University of Oklahoma in 1960 with a Bachelors Degree
in Business. Perry was self employed as a stock broker
for many years. He retired to Naples, FL then on to live
in San Jose, Costa Rica. He loved classical music and
traveling. Perry was an avid OU football fan and was
very loyal to his family.
Perry is survived by his nephew, Tony Kountoupis of
Bartlesville, George Dimitrios Kountoupis of Houston,
Tony Dimitrios Kountoupis of Austin, Christopher
Dimitrios Kountoupis of Austin, and his cousin and best
friend George Kountoupis of Tulsa. Perry was preceded in
death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
