Ruby Belle (Morlan) Harris (1921-2012)
Ruby Harris of Bartlesville passed away in her home at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 surrounded by her family.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Dewey Cemetery with Pastor Earl Olson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. Ruby Belle Harris was born June 9, 1921 in Bartlesville to Frank and Goldie May (McGuire) Morlan. Ruby spent her life as a homemaker, caring for her family.
Ruby is survived by two sons; Mike Pierce of California and Max Pierce of Iowa. Three daughters; Patricia Pierce and Norma Wilson of Bartlesville, Elaine Rogers and their families. She was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren and sister Frankie Yakley.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Harris, her parents, daughter, Linda Vincent, son, Jimmy Pierce, brother, J.D. Morlan and granddaughters, Natalie Schipper and Felicia Harris.
The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Woods and his staff, Elder Care, Rivercross Hospice and Nursefinders for their loving care of mom.
