Mildred Marie (Samuel) (Snow) Dever passed away at 10:08 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Bartlesville Health and Rehab Community at the age of 82.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in the Walker-Brown Chapel with Charlie Tate and Jim Barham officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Dewey Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: Rivercross Hospice, 2301 SE Washington Blvd., Suite C, Bartlesville, OK 74006.
Mildred was born February 26, 1933 in Nixa, MO to Howard and Dolly (Reese) Samuel. She received her education in the Springfield, MO area. She married Henry E. Snow on September 8, 1951. They moved to the Bartlesville area where they raised their family. Mildred worked in the food service area and as a nurse aide before retiring. She also helped care for her grandchildren which she dearly loved.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, one daughter and two husbands.
She is survived by her children: Becky Tate and husband Charlie of Ochelata, Marcia Barham and husband Jim of Claremore, Ron Snow and wife Jan of Bartlesville, Deborah Snow-Kerr and husband Don of Bartlesville. Mildred was blessed with eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, other family members and many friends. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and her care givers.
