Mary Ann Swan

Mrs. Mary Ann Swan, 70, resident of Dewey, died Monday evening at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Odell Thomas of the Mid America Revival Center of Coffeyville, Kansas officiating. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery. Funeral services and interment will be directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Stumpff Funeral Home.

Mary Ann Swan was born on July 9, 1936 at Seneca, Kansas the daughter of Cecil A. and Frances C. (Hailey) Nations. She was raised in Kansas and Oregon. She married Waldo M. Swan on August 20, 1952 at Dewey. They had made their home in the Dewey area for 54 years. She was a member of the Mid America Revival Center in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Mary Ann Swan is survived by her husband Waldo of the home, two daughters; Sue Ann Gwin and her husband Frank of Dewey and Janet Rae Hamrick of Frontenac, Kansas, one son; Bruce W. Swan of Oklahoma City, seven brothers; Charles Nations of Topeka, Kansas, David Nations of Alma Kansas, Robert Nations of Portland, Oregon, Gerald Lueb, Tom Lueb, Keith Lueb and Mike Lube all of Oregon, two sisters; Vinita Rae Piel of Paxico, Kansas and Ruth Hund of McFarland, Kansas, seven grandchildren; Jennifer Dimick, Matthew Humberd, Amy Humberd, Christina King, Hailey Hamrick, Stephen Gwin and Kristi Draut and ten great grandchildren. Mrs Swan was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Frances (Hailey) Nations and Wilma R. Nations, one sister Lorraine Parker.
