Linda Lavon Snow
May 31, 1945 - January 27, 2023

Linda Lavon Snow gained her wings and reunited with Jesus and her husband, Garry Snow. Surrounded by family who deeply loved and adored her, she left this earth on Friday, January 27, 2023.

Linda was born on May 31, 1945, to Merril & Gladys Teel in Bartlesville, OK. She attended school in Bartlesville at Horace Mann Elementary School, Madison Middle School and graduated from College High School in 1963. After high school she attended NEO A&M in Miami, OK, taking keypunch.

Linda met the love of her life, Garry Snow, and they were married on November 15, 1963. Together they raised two children, Marilyn Christine Strate and Garry Dee Snow, Jr. Linda worked at Phillips Petroleum Company for 28 years and was involved in the Phillips Sorority. After retiring from Phillips, Linda worked at their flower shop, Snow's Flowers, with Garry until they closed the shop after 30 years, after which she started working at Bluestem Cardiology in the medical records department.

Linda loved spending time with her family, especially watching her grandchildren in their sports. Seeing each of them, now including her great-grandchildren, made her day and could always put a smile on her face. She also enjoyed playing in a Bunko group where she met many ladies who became great friends. She spent years doing all kinds of crafts. She loved baking and made many beautiful cakes for several special occasions from birthdays to anniversaries and even some weddings. She attended the Dewey United Methodist Church where she was a member of the church choir.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Garry Snow and father, Merril Teel. Linda is survived by her mother, Gladys Teel of Bartlesville; two children, Marilyn Christine & husband Tommy Strate of Dewey, Garry Dee Snow, Jr. and wife Heather of Bartlesville; 5 grandkids, Rachel (Strate) Luellen & husband Tyler of Collinsville, Clint Strate of Dewey, Casey Strate & wife Sonia of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Zach Snow of Bartlesville, Jake Snow of Bartlesville; 2 great-grandkids, Atticus Strate of Dewey, and Harper Luellen of Collinsville; sister, Rita (Teel) Cunningham and husband Carl of Grove; sister-in-law, Karen Snow of Afton; and lots of nieces and nephews.

Linda's family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel, 113 S. Osage Ave. (Hwy 75), Dewey, OK 74029, 918-534-3030. Come and go visitation will be held that same day from 10-8 and on Friday from 9-12.
