Joy Lynn (Daniel) Knight, a resident of Claremore, Oklahoma passed away at her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

Joy was born February 26, 1949 in Bartlesville to Sidney Earnest Daniel and Ethel Marie (Wolfe) Daniel. She attended Bartlesville Public Schools and Bartlesville Beauty College graduating with the College High Class of 1967. Joy worked as a beauty operator and later with Bartlesville Public Schools. She was active in her church work and of the Assembly of God faith. She enjoyed attending activities of her grandchildren, sewing, and traveling. Joy resided in Claremore, Oklahoma with her husband Chester W. Knight Jr.

Joy is survived by her husband, Chester W. Knight, Jr. of the home, two sons, Dan Ketchum and wife Jeanie of Houston, Texas and Craig Ketchum of Bartlesville, one daughter, Jennifer Maloney of Broken Arrow and one stepson, Lance Knight and wife Angel of Dewey. Grandchildren Devon Ketchum and wife Qualla, Derek Ketchum and wife Madelyn, Dylan Ketchum and wife Emily, Colton Palmer and wife Amanda, Chase Palmer, Anessa Hubbard, and Mia Knight. Great Grandchildren, Yona Ketchum, Ainsley Ketchum, and Kennedy Adair. Nephew William Engelbert and Niece Lori Dunham and husband Keith and sister-in-law, Kathe Knight.

Joy was preceded in death by her parents Sidney Earnest and Ethel Marie (Wolfe) Daniel and sister Janet Marie (Daniel) Engelbert.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the First Church of God in Dewey with Chaplain Troy Johnston officiating.

Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

The Knight family will receive guests for visitation at the Stumpff Funeral Home on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 6 PM until 8 PM.
