Mr. Goodman grew up in the Blackwell, Ponca City and Bartlesville, Oklahoma area. He married his beloved Wanda Mae Dallas on March 31, 1962 at Pawnee Oklahoma. They made their first home at Fort Riley Kansas and following his military services they moved to Wewoka, Oklahoma where he was employed with the I40 HWY construction project. They later moved to western Kansas and then Cherokee, Oklahoma, to Claremore and then to the Copan area in the late 1960s to make their permanent home. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix or at least gave a darn good try to! He worked many jobs to support his family. He worked nights at Founder in Dewey and hauled hay by day with his wife as the driver and kids in the truck cab. He worked at a coal mine in Welch, Oklahoma until it closed down then went on to work for Bill Doenges as a farm and ranch hand then to a mechanic at Doenges Ford in Bartlesville where he retired in 1997. Mr. Goodman was a well-loved man with many stories to tell. He enjoyed sitting on his swing with his wife relaxing and enjoying the outdoors while watching his grand and great grandchildren running and playing outside with their dogs and animals. His hobby was farming and feeding his cattle on a daily basis. Daddy/papa will always be in our hearts loved and missed daily. He was a great friend, husband, brother and father and the greatest papa.
