Vera was preceded in death by one son, Tracey McIntosh; her father, Vere Burnett and her mother, Myrtle Burnett.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin of the home; son, Louis McIntosh of the home; son, James McIntosh of Fort Gibson; son Kenneth McIntosh and his wife, Sandi, of Hichita; daughter, Alma Pickle and her husband, Charlie, of Muskogee; grandchildren, Cory McIntosh, Bailey McIntosh, Kenny McIntosh and Jesi Pickle; brother, Verlon Burnett; sister, Iza Holt and her husband, Joe; sister, Armenda Pearson and her husband, Danny; sister, Sally Burnett; brother, James Burnett and his wife, Dot, and brother, Mikel Burnett and his wife, Rose.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Fosters’ Ivory Chapel with Dr. Lance Sawyer officiating.
Interment will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery in Okay.
Pallbearers will be James McIntosh, Kenneth McIntosh, Charlie Pickle, Verlon Burnett, Cory McIntosh and Joe Holt. Honorary pallbearer is Louis McIntosh.
In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to Kids Space in memory of Vera at P.O. Box 277, Muskogee, OK 74402.
Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
