Serving as pallbearers will be James Mouse, Doyle Adamson, David Adamson, Jim Hall, Keith Adamson, Jason Adamson, Billy Taylor and Terry Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Remington, Pat Hunter, Chris Adamson, Ricky Taylor and Jerry Remington.

Steve was born on August 16, 1959, the son of Jack and Loeta (McBroom) Adamson in Tulsa. He departed this life on Saturday, April 20, 2002, in Tahlequah. Living his life in Tahlequah, Steve was a big Elvis fan and John Wayne was his favorite actor. Steve loved to collect hats and watch old western movies, as well as "The Waltons".  Even though Steve did not know how to write, he loved to write stories. He loved everybody and everyone loved him.

His parents, Jack and Loeta Adamson; and a brother Earnest Adamson, preceded him in death.

Steve is survived by four brothers, Tommy and wife Debbie, Hubert and wife Lavon, and Jackie and his wife Barbara, all of Tahlequah, and Bill and wife Charlene of Fort Smith, Ark.; five sisters, Joyce Townzen of Rogers, Ark., Mattie Bolin and husband Euel of Vaughn, Ark., Zelda Morgan of Barnsdall, Beverly Taylor of Fort Gibson, and Brenda Smith and husband of Coweta; a sister-in-law Charlotte Adamson, also of Tahlequah; several nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Steve has always been thought of by his brothers and sisters as their "little brother." He was a special person to his entire family who respected and loved him.
