Funeral services for Amanda Jane Ford, 94, of Muskogee, OK, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 18, 2014 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Steve Rose officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner.

Amanda was born September 7, 1919 at Marble City, OK, the daughter of Jasper and Effie (Owens) Armour and died Monday, July 14, 2014 at Tulsa. On March 7, 1935 she married Willie Morgan Ford. Amanda was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Muskogee. She worked for 20 years at the Oklahoma School for the Blind and after retirement worked in child care at the First Assembly of God.

Survivors include her children, David and Patti Ford of Muskogee, Jerry and Madeline Ford of Arlington, TX, Billy and Donna Ford of Coweta, Sharon and Steve Sadler of Muskogee; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years; and children, Doris Jean, Charles, and Beverly Kay.
