Memorial service for Robert Junior Pritchett, 85, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at New Covenant Fellowship Church, Goltry, with Rev. Dale Cummins officiating. Arrangements are by Anderson - Burris Funeral Home . A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday in Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery, Sand Springs.
Robert was born to James and Bessie (Wadell) Pritchett on April 29, 1926, in Ponca City and passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, in Enid.
Robert served in the Army Air Corp and then married Donna Mae Mayer on Dec. 5, 1946, in Enid. He worked 21 years for Pillsbury Mills and then moved to Colorado in 1969 and worked sheet metal union jobs in Colorado, Texas and Oklahoma until retirement in 1985. Robert settled in Sand Springs until moving back to Enid in November 2006.
He is survived by children, Pamela Keefer of Tulsa, James (Myrna) Pritchett of Enid, Adra (Gary) Dobbs of Sand Springs and Sharon (Albert) Prochaska of Enid: nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 52 years Donna; brother, James Pritchett; sister, Helen McClain; and great-grandson, Tyler Highfill.
Memorials may be made to New Covenant Fellowship Building Fund.
